Welcome to the Heydon and Great Chishill Women's Institute Web Site

We hope you enjoy browsing through our pages
and that you might like to come to one of our meetings

We meet once a month, usually on the third Tuesday,
at 7.30pm in the Great Chishill Village Hall, South Cambridgeshire

You will find us to be a very friendly group of 38 ladies of all ages
who love to welcome new faces

Our meetings and speakers are varied, we have an interesting range of activities,
are never bored or boring and our refreshments have to be tasted to be believed

Of course being a member of our WI need not stop at Heydon and Great Chishill,
both the Cambridge Federation and National Federation arrange a wealth of activities,
offer great support to all WI's
and are committed campaigners for a better life for all

We also have Denman the WI college in Oxfordshire
where members can enjoy a variety of courses
within beautiful surroundings, in good company,
with exceedingly comfortable accommodation, if required, and delicious food
